Mountain Shadows Community Homes (MSCH)
Nestled in the foothills of San Diego’s North County, Mountain Shadows Community Homes is comprised of eighteen individually licensed homes for the developmentally disabled (Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled – Habilitative ICF DD/H). Sixteen of our homes are situated on five sprawling acres located in Escondido; the remaining two community-based homes are located in the heart of San Marcos. Each home is designed to foster a family environment to encourage the growth and independence of our residents.
The mission of Mountain Shadows Community Homes is to provide the best possible environment for our residents to achieve maximum independence and improved self-esteem through the superior habilitation, training, and support systems we offer.

Mountain Shadows Special Kids Homes (MSSKH)
Mountain Shadows Special Kids Homes has 13 residential homes in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Each home is licensed by the California Department of Health Services as an Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled – Nursing (ICF/ DD-N). Our highly trained staff members, consisting of Direct Care Staff, LVN’s, RN’s, and on-call physicians, provide tube feedings, ostomy care, oxygen therapy, apnea treatment, daily nursing assessments, and medication administration.
The mission of MSSKH is to promote optimal health, development, and independence for medically fragile individuals, with or at risk for developmental disabilities, in homes within the community, through exceptional nursing and supportive services by a nurturing team of professionals.

Mountain Shadows Outreach Services (MSOS)
Mountain Shadows Outreach Services is a licensed adult day program striving to fuel the growth of each individual’s abilities by enhancing life, leisure, and work skills. MSOS is licensed by the State of California Department of Health Services Community Care Licensing Division. We aim to excite the human spirit by providing creative solutions, innovative resources, and leading-edge services in a caring, safe, and comfortable environment that fosters an individual’s independence, integrity, and dignity. MSOS provides special nursing care needs such as g-tube feedings and colostomy/catheter care.
The mission of MSOS is to rekindle the excitement of exploration and open new doorways to learning that will enrich lives and inspire all individuals to achieve their greatest potential.
